Romantic Red and all the Shades of Love

LOVEWe really cannot love RED enough. Its a true color of love. Red is great for spring, summer, winter and fall. Red is one of those colors that can be bold enough to stand alone, or pair with colors to evoke deep passion or subtle romance. Nature’s palette offers fruits, berries and of course, gorgeous flowers.

Friday: Rewind the Pretty, Pretty Week

Our first week of February comes to an end with beautiful Vermont day, albeit still a bit chilly. For those heading up to ski this weekend, we are blessed with snow and conditions are amazing. A great weekend to check out wedding venues, as well as hit the slopes.

Monday: Pink! A flashback to a great classic wedding at Stowe Mountain Lodge.

TuesdayA touch of Bermuda graced Vermont! Bright Blooms by Randi at Silver Toad and gorgeous imagery by Nancy Cohn and Lauren Ross.

Wednesday:  Lemon, butter, sunshine, mustard… take your pick. I paired my favorite shades of  yellow with tones and colors I love to see at weddings.

Thursday: Boogie Time! Elan Artists have two great showcases in New York City in February. Be sure to check them out if you are still selecting your entertainment for your reception.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! I’ll be scouting out ideas and crafting over the weekend. Check out some of the ideas that might come alive on our Kids Valentines Day pinterest Board.

Yellow: Mellow or Bright We Have the Shade for You

Yellow is popping up quite a bit this summer and here are some of our favorite shades.yellowYellow can be modern and architectural, bright and pretty, deep and romantic. We also love the soft butter – utterly elegant when paired with deep navy, berry and sorbet tones. One of my very favorite combinations is butter with silver brunia, sage and perfect, pretty little blueberries popping out. YUM!

Vermont Wedding: Preppy and Bold in Barnard

Barnard, Vermont is one of my favorite towns to host a wedding. The country charm, historic buildings, recreational activities and fabulous food all combine to create an incredible atmosphere to produce any event. Today, we are sharing one of the past weddings held at the Barnard Inn.

The couple adapted a citrus-y theme, using yellows, oranges, greens and grey. The beautiful blooms by Blomma Flicka were a perfect touch to the historic church and tented reception.Citrus Wedding inspiration Vermont Vermont Destination Wedding Planner Citrus Vermont Destination Wedding Church Vermont Wedding Planner Vermont Wedding Coordination Vermont Destination WeddingThe Barnard Inn is the prefect destination to host a tented event.
