Real Wedding: Bizia and Clinton, Shelburne Farms, Vermont

This is one of THOSE weddings we knew would be incredibly beautiful, filled with details, emotion, incredible food and Ah-MAZING music from the moment we spoke with Bizia and Clinton. Their laid-back vibe combined with elegant grace and our shared dynamic taste in style, would provide a solid base to create this spectacular day.

All photos by by the incredibly talented team: 822 weddings. Shelburne Farms weddingShelburne Farms, filled with rolling hills, barns and a lake, is not only an stunning canvas for events, but also a sustainable farm with an Inn, cheese maker,  educational classes and farm to table dining. Everyone, at some point in their life, should taste their Clothbound Cheddar and visit the farm.

Bizia is the founder of the Etiquette School of Santa Fe. No surprise here that beauty, grace and of course, tea, would be incorporated into this day. And no wedding is complete without the Jimmy Choos. The processional was complete with cuteness, elegance and all the excitement that comes along with children, pets, family and of course, looming thunderstorms.  groom style vermont wedding at Shelburne Farms Vermont Wedding Planner Storied Events Vermont Destination Weddings Vermont Wedding Ceremony weddings outside in Vermont at Shelburne Farms Vermont outdoor wedding ceremoniesYes, I did write THUNDERSTORMS. Mother Nature had another plan for the ceremony – luckily (and as always!) we did too. So, in the middle of all the sentimental words, we moved inside and the bride had another chance to walk down the aisle. Lucky girl! And I have no words. It was just as delicious as it looked!   Vermont Wedding Cakes Fans of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band…Bizia and Clinton hired Melvin Seals and the Jerry Garcia Band as the main entertainment of the night. What do we do when a client secures one of our favorite bands? We build a six foot tall, dancing grateful dead bear as the “chandelier”, aptly named “Melvin”.Grateful Dead Bear Wedding by Storied Events VT Vermont Wedding and Event Planner Vermont Wedding with Grateful Dead Bear by Storied Events Melvin Seals at Wedding in Vermont Vermont Wedding Melvin Seals JGB Jerry Garcia band and Melvin Seals Wedding in Vermont Vermont Wedding with Melvin Seals Guests danced the night away and enjoyed the rest of the festivities. Staff. Here is what Daniel and Liane have to say about the Let’s Pretend Staff. We could not say it any better!

“Our staff constantly receives compliments from our clients, their guests as well as industry professionals. Their pleasant demeanor and overall attentiveness make it easy for clients to simply enjoy hosting their event. Our turnover rate is very low and we are fortunate to have had several lead service members with us for over 6 years. Each year before our summer season begins our staff, new and returning, attend a training session to review our service expectations and etiquette standards. This team building work shop allows every member of our team to be comfortable and confident heading into all of our events. We believe in a small crew with a great deal of passion to produce all of the high quality food for each event. Our team of cooks work summer after summer alongside Daniel and Liane hand making all of our food items. We have chosen these individuals for their culinary skills and diverse knowledge within the culinary field as well as their pursuit for excellence. This small core team sets a strong foundation for the success of all events.”
